Outlook 2003 Autocomplete

We have a very large enterprise setup using Outlook 2003. One of our
executive users really likes the autocomplete feature. My understanding is
that when you send an email to someone it adds it to the NK2 file. This does
not seem to be working as it does not add addresses. The work around I found
is that you type a couple letters and wait for exchange to notify you that it
could not resolve it. Right click and added the addresses that way. Suggest
Names and Automatic name checking are turned on. Any ideas on why it is not
picking up the email addresses?
Thanks

What you describe in the latter portion of your message is AutoResolution,
not AutoCompletion. When resolved addresses are not retained by the
autocompletion feature, it's usually a sign of a damaged mail profile.
