Outlook 2003 - Automatic Formatting Settings Lost

I have been using the automatic formatting feature for years to use colors
to indicate messages from different sources.

Twice in the past couple of days these settings have been lost, and I can't
figure out what might have caused this. I have recently dowloaded some
updates to Office 2003, but don't know if any pertained to outlook.

I'd be grateful for any advice.

they are views - did you have other custom views you lost?

No, as far as I know. The "to" column also was gone each time.

It looks like the settings may have reverted to the defaults. The rules I
have set up are (thankfully) still in place.
