Thanks for that. It is a roaming profile but a problem arises when
switching
PC's from Outlook 97 to 2003. It 'holds' the last person to use the PC's
signature.
Only in his/her own Windows Profile so you wouldn't notice that when you log
on with your own credentials. Otherwise your sys admins have misconfigured
roaming profile usage.
Their was some way of creating an outlook folder, placing it in
your z: drive then putting some exchange settings and some other settings.

To achieve what? I don't know where your Z-drive links to and what it is
used for.
Signatures are kept in;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures
Mail profile settings are kept in the registry.
This is why you need a roaming profile in order to make it work.
