Outlook 2003, Blackberry and broken rules

I have a user with a Blackberry that is having some rules problems. We
created a rule in Outlook 2003 that forwards any email with his name in the
To or CC fields to his Blackberry. The rule will work for a couple of days
then break. The only way to fix it is to recreate it. We have Exchange
Server 2003. The blackberry is using a Nextel service, not an internal
gateway. Any ideas?
