Can anyone advise me if Outlook 2003 in CACHED MODE is supported with the
backend being Exchange 2000 (NOT EXCHANGE 2003).
We have laptop users who's mailboxes on the E2K server are greater than 2Gb,
these users have offline folders setup with their current Outlook 2000
client. Obviously, the OST files are becoming corrupted/Profiles taking ages
to open even when connected on the lan because the mailbox is greater than
the OST file size permitted.?
I want verification I can deploy Outlook 2003, use Cached Mode which I
understand will enable the users to have a local offline cached copy of their
mailbox bigger than 2Gb because I believe the Outlook 2003 Cached mode file
is in Unicode format.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
