Outlook 2003 calander

I have a user that when they add an entry into a calander other people who
receive this entry have the reminder going off 18 hours before the event is
to happen. The default on the computer sending the event is 15 minutes. Also
when all day event is selected it goes from midnight to midnight instead of a
regular 8 hour period. Are there settings or somthing that need to be changed?

First thing I'd do is check the time zone settings on the computers
involved.

Also, an all-day event is an all-calendar day (not all-work day) thing, so
it would be 24 hours long

Is there a way of setting it to an 8 hour time? The time zones are also set
correctly as well.

No, an all-day event is always all-day. If you want an eight hour event you
should just create one that way.

Not sure about the reminder stuff at the moment

For the reminder settings, I believe each user sets their own default
reminder. I don't think you can send reminder settings with an appointment.

While in the Outlook calendar, each user would need to go to TOOLS >>
OPTIONS and verify under the Preferences tab, that the Default reminder box
is checked. To the right of that they would need to select from a drop-down
how many minutes/hours/days they would like their own reminder.
