Outlook 2003 calendar appointments listed at time of entry

calendar of VP is shared and actually owned by VP's assistant. VP's
assistant enters appointments and they appear correctly on her view of VP's
calendar. Out of the blue, VP is seeing appointments displayed at the time
that VP's assistant entered the appointment and not when the actual
appointment is. When the appointment is opened to view details, the start
and end times are as entered by VP's assistant. The time, date and time zone
appear to be set correctly on VP's machine (Windows). Repairing Office 2003
and uninstalling and reinstalling did not change anything. OWA does display
appointments correctly. Need to figure out why all of a suddent VP's email
client is showing appointments at time of entry rather than actual start and
end time.
