Outlook 2003 Calendar view in Xp and W2K

I have W2K and Outlook 2003. The CALENDAR view I have is different than the
one a friend of mine, who has WXP, has.

His view is a LEFT pane with three vertically displayed full months, and a
RIGHT pane with the daily appointments.

I have a middle pane with the daily appointments, a left pane with the
actual view names and a right pane with two horizontally displayed monthly
calendars.

I have not been able to switch to the XP view. Any clue on how to do so will
be welcome.
