Outlook 2003 Calendar will not open in Outlook 2000

Hello,
I just upgraded one of my users to Office / Outlook 2003 from 2000.

His previously shared Calendar is now inaccessible by others with OL2000.
I removed and re-added the permissions..even granting ownership, and I have
run all Office service packs on both PCs.

What am I missing?
