Outlook 2003 Calendar won't respond.

Can anybody offer any advice to the following problem? My boss' Outlook Calendar will stop accepting new entries about daily. When she tries to select new - appointment nothing happens. If she tries to accept a invitation from someone else, same thing, nothing happens. I have been able to make it work by rebooting her machine every morning before she gets in, but this is not really the answer I am looking for. She had Windows XP and uses Outlook 2003. I have run all the updates I can find for both Windows and the Office Suite. Anybody have any direction?
