When I press the send/receive button, Outlook 2003 downloads emails from all
my accounts except from Hotmail. Sending and receiving reported error
(0x80040126). I hope someone can help me!

I use outlook 2007 beta edition and the same thing is happening to me , from
other posts it seems that there is a supposed problem with the Hotmail Server.

Microsoft know there is a problem, they just cxan't be bothered to tell you.

Right, I was on the phone earlier this am & the tech fellow actually
expressed his surprize that I use Outlook to receive MSN mail--WHAT??!! The
problem is with the updates I rec'd on the 10th...Microsoft suggested I
contact my provider...Why put everyone throught this rigamarole when they
know it's out there??? If I had not been persistant, I would have been
transferred to a $35-an hour tech line. BUT, still no resolution of my
problem & now I've deleted and added my account so many times and changed the
settings, I don't know how it used to be! HELP and although I have Outlook
Connector, I do not have the MSN button under add or delete to reinstall
Outlook. Now I have to try to get through to another support line, MSN or
Verizon, who knows & then wait for Microsoft to call me in a day or two to
see if it is resolved...

Has your problem been solved yet? I am having the same problem with my
Outlook. I went to bed with everything working and woke up to this
nightmare. Don't these different factions of Microsoft ever speak to one
another. I have tried to get a phone tech for three days and every call ends
with they're sorry but your call didn't go through; dial the toll free number
again. This is for the birds.

After a number of automatic updates, things are back to normal...I did
nothing to fix it, but it happened one more time then, self-fixed again.
It's a mystery to me. Try updating.
