My company has just changed it's server version of Outlook to 2003.
In the Mail view, when creating a new message and selecting the "To:"
field, I find that although I can see public contact lists in the
"Select Names" dialog box, I am unable to find my personal Contact
Lists, yet in the Contacts view, all my personal lists are viewable
and editable.
The nearest work around I can find is to choose the Contacts View,
select one of my lists, right click on it and select the "New message
to Contact" option.
This creates a new mail addressed to the contact list as expected.
However it's of no benefit when I need to send the same email to three
distribution lists at the same time.
Is this a known bug in 2003? I certainly don't have this problem when
using my laptop 2002 version.
The only reason I have three lists is that 2002 only permitted approx
150 names in a single list. Has this changed in 2003 and if so how can
I create a single list from the three original lists?
This would at least allow me to use the work around.
Usual TIA
