I know that Outlook 2003 cannot connect directly with a GroupWise 6 server,
but in some testing I had found a way to add a "GroupWise Message Store"
when creating a data file. However, I have only been able to produce this
result one time. I have not been able to reproduce it since. I was wondering
if anyone as been able to produce this result on their end?
In case some clarification is needed, I believe my steps were to install
Outlook on a clean machine, launch it, and create a POP3 profile. I then
closed Outlook, installed GroupWise, and launched GroupWise.
I then went to the mail control panel, set it to ask which profile to use. I
then modified the Outlook profile, added a data file, and was presented with
the option of a GroupWise Message Store. However, with the sole exception of
that first time, I have not been able to reproduce this result. I suspect
that I inadvertently added a step that I have not been executing since.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
