Outlook 2003 -- closed windows still on taskbar

J

john.dattilio

Sometimes Outlook windows remain on my taskbar until I restart the
application. Example, I'll send a reply email and "Re:blah blah blah"
window will still be visible on the taskbar after I send it, but its
permanently minimized and can't be closed. Like a ghost.

I'm running Outlook 2003 on XP. Thanks in advance for any help...

Are you running in a dual monitor configuration? Update your videocard
driver.

No, not running a dual monitor config.

Its more like a defunct process. The window on the taskbar is locked
in the minimized state and cannot be closed.

Installing the latest updates and drivers wouldn't hurt if you hadn't
already.
What add-ins are you using?
