Outlook 2003 Closes Down Spasmodically

I use Microsoft Outlook and there are times when it closes down.

It happens in various ways, sometimes when I shift from one folder to the
next and a certain type of email and other times just by itself.

I use Plaxo and I am wondering whether that has something to do with it?

My operating system is Windows Vista which has problem reporting and it does
not give me a solution.

Has anyone got any ideas to assist me?

Initially try Detect/Repair
If still the same start outlook with the safe switch & test
Run
Outlook.exe /safe
(note space between exe /)
