Outlook 2003 Closes for no reason.

Sometimes when I click New Mail or click Reply in an existing mail, Outlook
closes with no reason or error message. Also my Format tool bar keeps
disappearing with each new e-mail.

There probably is a reason.

I would first try a Detect and Repair or reapply service pack 2.
