When I start Outlook 2003, it opens, loads the outlook.pst file, then
my antivirus (ZoneAlarm Security Suite) runs a scan, and when that
compltes, Outlook closes. This computer is also running Timeslips,
which hooks into Outlook in some fashion. I have not ried
reinstalling Timeslips yet, but that is next.
Here is what I have tried:
System restore to earlier time - no effect
Repair reinstallation of MS Office 2003. No effect.
Ran Inbox repair tool - while this did find and fix some errors, it
did not fix the problem.
I created a new profile, and tried to open it. Same result.
I associated the old Outlook.pst file with the new profile, and
deleted the old profile. Same result.
I ran a registry scan and repair tool - no effect
I am to the point where, after attempting to reinstall Timeslips, that
I am just going to reinstall everything from scratch. trying to avoid
this, any suggestions?
What have I missed.
Many Thanks in advance.
