Outlook 2003 Closing Constantly

D

David De Trolio

We recently upgraded at my office to Microsoft Office 2003 Professional
Enterprise Edition from Office XP Standard Edition. On my desktop, a Compaq
Evo running Windows XP Professional SP2, ever since I upgraded Outlook will
lock up; tell me it needs to close and restart after sending an error
report.

This can occur no matter where I am in Outlook, be it typing a message,
opening a folder, or just moving from the Inbox to Sent Items.

I tried Detect and Repair but this did not help.

Any thoughts, ideas and of course a fix?

Thanks...Dave

Try creating a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
Profiles->New. Do not copy the old one.
