Outlook 2003 connector screwed up my Outlook and hotmail

I installed Outlook 2003 connector as directed but hot mail would work
so I uninstalled it and Outlook still won't work now. I keep getting
a square pop up box in Outlook that asks me for
my user name and password. I put it in,but the box just keeps popping
up as quickly as I close it and now it says I have tried to sign in
too often and can't be verified. I can't
do anything in Outlook . All this because I did what the email from
live team told me to do. Please someone help me; I really need to
access my email accounts, especially
hotmail. This is affecting the work I have to do as I cannot access
Outlook and my hotmail, folders, etc. Please don't tell me to stop
using Outlook; your hotmail live is a joke!
thanks!

Hello Amanda.
Can you explain that whether you are using outlook connector to configure
your Hotmail email account or you have configured your email account in some
another form.
Since you have outlook 2003 you can check it by clicking on Tools>Email
account>View or change existing email account><Email account>.
and if you had it as pop3 or HTTP you need to remove the email account and
uninstall outlook connector from Start>Control Panel>Add/remove programs.
and after that re install outlook connector and open outlook 2003 again,
After that it will ask for your name, Email addreess. and password,
You need to restart the outlook after that by File>Exit.
and restart outlook after 5 to 10 minutes,
for any issue you can view this summary,
1. Close out of Outlook if it's currently running. In fact, it's a good idea
to close all running applications when installing new software.
2. Confirm that your Hotmail account is a Windows Live account. If it's not,
you can either open a new account or upgrade your existing account. You can
do this by simply choosing the "Join Windows Live Hotmail" link that appears
when you log in to your email account.
3. Download Microsoft Office Outlook Connector from the Microsoft website
(see Resources below).
4. Run the file when it finishes downloading and follow the installation
wizard to complete installation.
5. Launch Outlook. The Outlook Connector will open a window prompting you to
provide your account information (email address, password and name). Type all
this information and hit "OK."
6. Look for your Window Live Hotmail account in the navigation pane. The
server settings should be configured for you. All you will have to do is
configure any custom settings.

Thanks and Regards

Hello Rahul ,

I did what you said and I had to open and close Outlook as nothing
happened. I finally went to tools and email accts and added the
hotmail acct. again. This time a box came up after, asking if I
wanted to connect to the connector (paraphrasing) I clicked yes and
the hotmail showed up under my email address with the folders;however
the send/received seems to be stuck. I have been waiting over 5
minutes for it to finish processing. It's stuck at processing. I am
not getting any mail yet, but no constant popping up sign in boxes. I
guess that's a start. Ever since hotmail went to this live thing it's
been a mess. I appreciate your help; really! I am still stuck
waiting for the mail to exchange into Outlook. I have an aol account
as well and now that is not processing either. I have closed Outlook
and reopened it, but it is doing the same thing. Tell me what I
should do, Please...:)

Hello Amanda

Yes you are right ever since Microsoft migrated to LIVE it is only causing
issues and nothing else.
What you need to do is restart the computer after 15 to 20 min and try
opening outlook again and see if it works or not,
If not try to completely shutdown the computer and start it after half an
hour.
Hope that it will resolve the issue,

Thanks
