outlook 2003 contacts disappeared

I lost outlook 2003 contacts. The contacts still show up
when I start writing person's name into the To: field, but
there are no entries in the Contacts. How could I get my
contacts back?

You haven't told us what you did to lose them. They cannot disappear on
their own. Fill in the blanks.
