Background:
Allowed to have Office 2003 Professional on my home PC as a benefit of my
job. I recently changed jobs, so knew I needed to uninstall. I bought
Office 2007 Home/Student edition, which does not come with Outlook. Until I
can afford to buy Outlook 2007, I wanted to use Outlook express. I had no
problem having Express import my old messages.
Problem:
I have four contact folders in Outlook 2003 that I would like to move to
Outlook Express. I thougth the easiest way would be to export them to a file
(csv or wab) them import them into Express. However, when I click the export
option in Outlook 2003, I get this message:
"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not
valid."
I did the "repair" thing, got a "succesful" message, rebooted my PC, same
problem.
I searched for this message in the knowledge base, but could only find fixes
that apply to versions earler than 2003, and those deal with Tasks, not the
import/export option.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
