Outlook 2003 Crash / Restart

S

Stucker

Since upgrading to Office 2003 (which included the Outlook upgrade) from the
XP version, several folks are having problems where Outlook will "crash" on
them at least once a day. It seems to occur when sending/forwarding an
email. Outlook will close and restart itself. The email which had been in
progress is gone and has to be recreated.

Any ideas on cause and resolution?

Thanks!

1) try a new profile. It usually gives a better experience when you upgrade,
especially if you upgraded from 2000.

2) since it's on a send, delete the *.srs file. It may correct the problem
without making a new profile, but I still recommend new profiles. (A new
profile makes a new *.srs file.)
