Outlook 2003 crashes and fails to load

My Outlook 2003 always crashes and fails to Load.. I cannot write E-mails
neither read them.. Can anyone help me solve this annoying Process?

Are there any error messages and/or numbers?

Hello there,

The Error message that am receiving Reads that:
" Outlook has Encountered a Problem and will Close"..

Some further informations Displayed are :
Code: oxc0000005. Address:0x0000000007c941c6b
File Vers: ( c11.0:81690). ProdVers: c11.0:81690

I'd uninstall the whole Office 2003 tons of times to findout it's cause but
totally
unsuccessful.

Will be quite grateful for any help to solve this.

Close Outlook. Run scanpst.exe against your PST file.

To find scanpst.exe do a file search of your PC. The PST is in a hidden
folder so use Windows Explorer to unhide all hidden files and folders and
also to display file extensions for known file types.

You may have to run scanpst repeatedly, until it finds no more errors.

Let me know how you make out.

I'd conducted the search and actually found the "Scanpst.exe but was unable
to conduct a Folder scanning process instead i decided to delete my
..MSNPST.File
and thereafter started Outlook 2003 by recreating a new Personal Folder..!

NOW HEAR THIS:
To my S'wonderful surprise, its now up and running without Crashing.

I had the same issues but couldn't find scanpst.exe...so I googled. Anyways,
I found this MS K article -> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/197316


Bottom line for me was an OST file in need of repair. I found scanost.exe
alone with scanpst.exe in this folder of my 2003 install on Vista. ->
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033

I ran against my profile and all is well.

Interesting though that my initial reaction was to delete my .OST and have
it rebuilt. This didn't work for some reason.
