Windows XP SP2 / Office 2003 Pro SP3
This is occurring on only 1 PC in my environment.
When the user creates a new message, she can add an attachment without any
problem; however, prior to sending the message she wants to view the
attachment to verify that it is the correct one that she wants to send. When
she opens the attachment (from within the new message window) there is a
dialogue box that prompts her to be sure that she wants to open the
attachment (potentially harmful, etc...), she clicks YES and Outlook just
hangs there for about 90-120 seconds before finally opening the attachment.
The attachment we tested when I was at her desk was approx 240k in size
(Word doc w/ no graphics). The same result if the document was local or on a
network share. If she attempts to open this document in Word (not through
Outlook), it opens without any delay.
All systems are built from the same Ghost image, and other users do not have
this issue.
Ideas?
Thanks.
