Outlook 2003 daily startup crash solved with reboot?

Typically when I start Outlook 2003 the first time each day, it crashes.
Usually it gives some kind of dll error. This occurs right after I've
turned the PC on and booted into Windows XP SP2.

However, all I need to do is either:
a) reboot the PC again
b) run the "Detect & Repair" feature (doesn't always work).

For example, the dll error today was "The procedure entry point
3[]StngFrom CLSID (sic) could not be located in the dynamic link
library ole32.dll" It's strange because the correct entry point name is
StringFromCLSID but it seems corrupt.

I'm quite sure I'm not running any 3rd party Outlook extension. My
startup programs are:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SoundMAXPnP] C:\Program Files\Analog
Devices\SoundMAX\SMax4PNP.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SoundMAX] "C:\Program Files\Analog
Devices\SoundMAX\Smax4.exe" /tray
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ATIPTA] C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI
Control Panel\atiptaxx.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroFilterCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MsnMsgr] "C:\Program Files\MSN
Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe" /background
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [H/PC Connection Agent] "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
ActiveSync\WCESCOMM.EXE"

Anyone solved this problem before?
