outlook 2003 defauly mail client but cant link to msn hotmail

ok so i have a couple problems:

1. I am trying to set up outlook 2003 and my new pc but i dont know what the
email address will be or anything. how do i know what the email address is,
where do i fing out that info.

2. Is there a way for me to setup my default email client in vista as msn
hotmail?

My hotmail address ends in the suffix @msn.com; I am trying to send/receive
my emails from Outlook 2003, but it's not working. Not sure if I have the
correct settings, specifically for the incoming/outgoing server info. Can
you help?
