I have a couple of deployment questions for Outlook 2003 Standard.
I have uploaded the compressed source to a server and used the CIW to make
an MST. I've then used a GPO to deploy Outlook 2003 to a test workstation.
My first question is whether Local Installation Source is available in this
scenario, or only if I use setup.exe.
Having successfully deployed Outlook 2003, I need it patched with SP1. How
can I do this with a GPO? I've downloaded the full version of SP1 and
extracted the MSP, but what can I do with it? Can I chain it to the
original Outlook 2003 installation?
If I can't use LIS with a GPO-deployed installation, how do I deal with
patching? I really don't want to use an administrative install.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Oli
