Outlook 2003 Distribution list question

I would like to create a distribution list that does not reveal an email
address. I know to put the recepients into the BCC filed. However, I am
finding that when I use a distribution list I have created ("Media serving
the local area"), my email address shows in the properties of "Media serving
the local area."

Put another way, it OK that the message comes from me. But I only want the
recepients to see the "TO" as "Media serving the local area" without an email
address associated with that distribution list.

Can I accomplish this and if so, how?

I don't believe Outlook can do this. Why not just leave the To field empty?
The other alternative is to create another Contact called "Media serving the
local area" and give it your or another address. Outlook has no trouble
with multiple contacts with the same name, so you can have a contact and a
DL named the same. Put that contact in the To field and the DL in the Bcc
field. The recipients will see the name you included. They may see an
address as well, but so what?
