When switching between the Inbox, Contacts, Calendar and Task lists, Outlook
2000 would remember the exact state of each, so that when I went back to any
item it would appear exactly how I left it.
Outlook 2003 does not seem to do this as reliably. The worst example is
contacts, every time I go back to my Contacts list, it has scrolled back to
the top of the list.
Also, I regularly use two task lists and have several contact lists set up.
Every time I close Outlook and re-open it, it reverts to displaying the
default task and contact lists, which are not the ones I use regularly. Once
I've selected a different list I can switch back and forth between different
areas, but as soon as I close Outlook it will loose my settings again.
Has anybody else experienced this, or does anybody know if there is any way
I can improve on the way Outlook remembers it's settings?
