Outlook 2003 does not send mails which come from a different program via MAPI

Hi,

I have the following problem:

I wrote a software in VB6 which sends mails via MAPI.
Using Incredimail or Outlook Express everything worked fine sinca a year.
Now I changed to Outlook 2003 and nothing works.

When my software sends the mail Outlook tells me, that a 3rd Party program
wants to send a mail and if I agree.
I click "yes" and the mail can be found in the outgoing mail folder.
But there it stays for ever. Nothing happens. When I clock "Send/Recieve",
the mail disappears and at once I
get a mail from SystemAdmin which says, that no account was able to send the
mail.

Verschiebe ich die mail aber aus dem Postausgang in einen anderen Ordner,
öffne sie und sage dann SENDEN, dann wird sie versandt.

Is there anyone who has an idea, what I can do to make it working??

Thanks in advance

Gerd

(sorry for my bad english)

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm for your options with regard to the "object model guard" security in Outlook 2000 SP2 and later versions.

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for general Outlook programming issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba
