I have Outlook 2003 configured as my main client on a win2k workstation.
When I activate the program, s not start receiving new mail unless I
push on "send/receive" button on the toolbar. The same is with sending
outgoing messages - they get stuck in the outbox untill I hit the
send/receive button again. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks!

Tools->Options->Mail Settings->Send/receive settings. Set an automatic
polling interval (10 minutes or greater is best) as this will force an
automatic send/receive on startup. Make sure your connection type is set to
LAN as well.
