Outlook 2003 doesn't show picture when inserted

Outlook 2003 shows empty box when picture is inserted, yet once sent the
picture is viewable in message on received message and when you look at the
message in sent folder, the image is there as well.

Are you using Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor? What method do you use
to insert a picture?
