Outlook 2003 Draft Folder Not Working

B

Bruce

My Draft folder is not saving copies of Drafts! If I change it in Advanced
E-mail Options to save them in the Inbox, that works. But if the location
reads Draft, the message entirely disappears when saved. They Don't get
saved, don't go to any other folder - just vanish when I press the save menu
button.

I thought I was dreaming that I had drafted these e-mails, but I have run a
bunch of tests to prove to myself I am not. I have opened Outlook 2003 in
Safe mode, I have done searches looking for these e-mails, all to no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Makes me nervous as to
what else I am losing.

BTW - Build is 11.6359.6360 (i.e., SP1)

As always, thank you for your suggestions, comments or otherwise.

Look at your View settings. Make sure it says to Show all messages not just
unread ones or something else. View>Arrange by> current view>messages should
be checked.

Checked and their is no restrictions. I have it set on this folder for
Messages with Autopreview.

An further suggestions? Can one folder be corrupt while the rest aren't?

Ran Scanpst.exe and despite it finding a number of errors, this problem
continues.

And worse, if you double click on a message in the "Deleted Items" folder,
review it, then close it, it DISAPPEARS - gone - no where to be found.

This is starting to scare me!

Anyone have any other ideas?
