Outlook 2003 E-Mail stuck in inbox

Albert Hallac

I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 to receive all my e-mail, last week received an
e-mail that now I know is the nightmare of all e-mail.by the way the size of
the E-mail is over 7 mb, When I touch that e-mail my outlook stop responding.
If I highlight the E-Mail and right click to delete Outlook stop responding.

These are the thing I have already done:
I ran norton antivirus because I thought it was a virus, I ran Microsoft
antispam, I have downloaded nod32 and ran it, I have gone to trend micro and
swept the computer, I have gone to spy sweeper and done that too.
I have unistalled outlook and reinstalled it, I have unistalled office and
reinstalled and nothing get's rid of this E-mail.
I have tried to work with outlook offline because some other group
recommended that to delete the E-Mail and that failed too.

select the message above it, hold shift and select the one below it. Delete
all 3 - preferably using a shift-delete to rid you of the bad one forever.
If you need the two messages, ctrl+c then ctrl+p on each to make a copy
before deleting. .

Have you tried uninstalling all antivirus/antispam programs (temporarily),
launch Outlook, and try to delete the message? Just sounds like Norton is
trying to scan the attachment and is locking Outlook until it completes.
