I tried the Microsoft Outlook community, but nobody responded, so will try
here.
I have a problem with Outlook 2003. When first opening Outlook, it hangs,
says 50% in the task bar, but won't go
on. I try to hit the send/receive button but it just keeps going lower -
30% 25% 10% etc. I have to close out
of Outlook and restart, sometimes twice, then it will open up and get the
email ok.
I have cleaned out all the junk email filters. After restarting and closing
out of outlook it will work fine
till I have shut the computer down. The next time I turn it it on the
problem starts all over again.
I have Windows XP Home on a AMD Athlon with 1.8 Ghz and 768 Ram, and also I
have a Linksys router. I have talked
to Linksys, they say it is not their problem, that I don't have something
set up right in Outlook.
I have tried everything, can someone give me some hints. I am really tired
of having to start and restart outlook
every time I start it up to get my email.
Thanks in advance.
