Outlook 2003 email setup does not work / Exchange not visible

Hi,
Since Office 2003 upgrade, Outlook 2003 does not work
anymore.
It is impossible to create a new email account as outlook
does not see our Exchange server. When I ping the
exchange server it works. Then as Outlook can not discuss
with the server I can not create my account. We are
looking for the issue since 3 days now full time. We
reistall everything all Office 03, install XP serv Pack
1, etc... Nothing works.

Can you also ping it by its FQDN?

Instead of putting in the name of the server does it work when you put in
the IP-address?

I too have just done the same as Frederic, but cannot got Outlook To open or create my outlook account.
Help required
