I hit send receive and see new email addresses and subjects appear in my
inbox but they disappear. Where do they go and how can i retrieve them?

I hit send receive and see new email addresses and subjects appear in my
inbox but they disappear. Where do they go and how can i retrieve them?

Do they appear in the Unread Mail folder? What type of account? Any
hand-held devices involved?
