Outlook 2003, SP 3, with all latest updates. Windows XP Pro with all latest
updates.
When I receive a message with pictures embedded in the body of the message,
I can see the pictures OK. If I forward this message to others, my copy of
the forwarded message shows the embedded pictures OK too. However, if I
forward this message to myself (to get rid of all the extraneous From and
To and subject lines), the copy of the sent message has all the embedded
pictures, just like the original. HOWEVER, when I get receive the message I
just forwarded to myself, the embedded pictures arrive as attachments and
the embedded photos are missing.
I've check every setting there is in the Outlook Options, and nothing seems
to be mis-applied. Anyone have any ideas?
