I often embed images in Outlook 2003 emails or forward others and I
have a few recipients that complain they usually receive no image at
all or occasionally only a box with the red "x" in it. Others state
they can view my images, but when they forward for them the next party
has no image. I have both RichText and HTML options selected and use
MS Word 2003 as my editor. I tried sending a test email to a local
friend with a similar system on the same ISP who received and opened
it completely. When they forwarded it to one of these problem
parties, it came through perfectly from that computer, while my
original one wouldn't. Therefore, I feel the problem is within my
system.
I've also sent one to an old Yahoo!Mail account of my own (like this
problem recipient uses) and it came through just fine to my old
account. Her computer is on Windows XP SP2 and is completely updated
including IE7 as is mine and they both are about 3 years old.
