Outlook 2003: Encountered Problem...Needs to be Closed.

When exiting Outlook 2003 right after a Windows XP startup, I get this
message, "Microsoft Outlook (2003) has encountered a problem and needs to be
closed." I don't get the message again until I restart Windows XP.

I ran an Outlook Repair and deleted add-ons with no change. I am not running
WinFaxPro.

Is there anything reported in your event viewer? Any events, error numbers or
other information that would be more specific?

Thanks...But I deleted some startup programs from msconfig, and the problem
went away.

Appreciate your help.

I went into MSCONFIG and deleted an unknown program. This is what worked for
me. You may try running a disk cleaning program after a clean boot (no
programs or services started). Good luck!

I have the samiliar problem. The user cannot shut down the outlook after
opens up and gets the message" MSoffice outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" Then only to button "Send
error repot or don't send" It won't goes away until using task manager to end
the task.
