Outlook 2003 error in POP3 receiving mails.

I am getting error saying as 0x80042110 receving error.
This error is coming when I am downloading emails through pop3 my laptop
outlook 2003 inbox.
Any help in fixing this error is appreciated.

If you're using yahoo.com for the server, you must have a paid Yahoo account
to enable POP access. The free Yahoo accounts don't support POP access.

Then ask their support staff, since you're paying for their support.

I did, they passed the buck to Microsoft or my ISP. I can recieve e-mails
just fine with my ISP, but not through Yahoo.

I found a discussion for this same issue and the recommendation was to
delete all e-mails because there is a corrupted e-mail in the folders, but
that didn't help.

I've setup the same account settings into Outlook Express and everything
works fine. I can't figure it out. I think I'm going to uninstall and
reinstall Office and see if that works.

It's unlikely to help. What has a better chance is enabling diagnostic
logging and seeing what's happening between the mail client and server.

Thank you for your help. I enabled the diagnostic logging on Outlook '03 and
restarted the application. When I checked the e-mail, everything worked. I
don't know what happened. I disabled the logging feature and things still
worked fine. So thanks again for your help.
