outlook 2003 error - sbcmsync.dll is not a valid office addin.

Every time I open outlook I get a message saying sbcmsync.dll is not a valid office add in. I installed the pro version of outlook 2003 on my XP machine and it should have had business contact manager with it. I think this message refers to the business contact manager. I've checked the path in the error message and sbcmsync.dll isn't there. In fact it isn't anywhere on my machine.

So I assume I'm getting an error because the file isn't there? If so how can I find the file to put it in place (I've tried reinstalling and repairing and that doesn't work). Or how can I get rid of the error message?

I think that dll is related to the Small Business Customer Manger which
shipped with Office 2000 Professional, to remove it see if "Outlook Sync" is
listed here Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Add-in Manger, if
it listed uncheck it and restart Outlook. I know that it can work with
Outlook 2002 with a patch but unsure about Outlook 2003.

There's nothing at all in the add in manager to disable. :-(

Hmm with Outlook closed can you delete extend.dat this is a hidden file and
you may have to show hidden files and folders from the View menu in Folder
Options in the Control Panel, if this doesnt work we may have to go into the
registry, make a backup of the registry first and then navigate to this key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins if you expand
Addins do you see this key SBCM.ADDIN.1 if you do highlight it and delete
close registry and restart Outlook.

I'm also having the same issues. There is nothing in the add-in manager. I searched for the extend.dat...nothing?! This is rather annoying!
