Outlook 2003 error when trying to "send" email, receive email OK

January 15, 2008 ---- OUTLOOK CAN'T "send email" but receives OK .

This was working yesterday and all of a sudden, stopped working. I'm using XP
professional on a desktop.

Task 'pop-server.tx.rr.com (1) - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC67) : '
The server responded: 421 mta11.adelphia.net connection refused from
[76.184.183.142]'

I also have a laptop (XP home) and have the same problem and each quit
working about the same time. The error from the laptop is:
Task pop-server.tx.rr.com sending reported error (0x800CCC67) the server
responded you can select an account and change it's settings or remove it

Any comments/suggestions/help will be **MUCH** appreciated.

You're referencing an Adelphia mail server from a Road Runner network.
Adelphia's server is blocking that access. Are you authenticating to the
outgoing server? You'd get better answers from your ISP.
