Outlook 2003 - Exchange 2003 Auto Name Resolution Problems

Hi

I am using Windows XP Pro, Outlook 2003. We recently upgraded from
Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.

Ever since the upgrade my auto resolution in Outlook does not work. The
auto complete works fine. Outlook will prompt me with email addresses
of people I've recently emailed.

But when I type in a partial last name, a comma, and a partial first
name I get nothing. No red line and no name resolution.

If I do Ctrl-K I get a box that says it has no suggestions. When I
click on show more names, it takes me to the global address list and
even takes me to the correct name if I've typed in enough letters.

This used to work for me. It works for others in the office. I signed
on to another PC for the first time, setup my email and it doesn't work
there either. I had my network admin sign on their and it works for
him. We're using the same name in the emails to test with. When he
types the partial last name, comma, first name it resolves to the
correct person. When I type it...I get nothing.

I went through the procedure for clearing the nickname cache. That was
unrelated and didn't help.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Simply means that the connection between the profile's address service and
the data store has been disrupted. Reconnect it. If you have to, remove and
re-add the service to the profile and direct it to the correct location for
the data store.
