I'm running RTM code on an Exchange 2000 server. If I'm running in cached
Exchange mode and I enter an appointment in my calendar, it goes in OK and
then sits there for 30 seconds or so, then disappears. If I turn off
cacheing and work online, I enter the appointment and then when I try to
save, Outlook says, helpfully, 'Can't save item. Unknown error.'
It looks like the calendar has gone read-only somehow and when the updates
are flushed through the cache they don't 'stick'. But I can go in through
OWA (or Outlook XP on another machine) and it works just fine.
Any ideas?
