Outlook 2003 fails to deliver SOME (not all) messages to Inbox..

RE

I have been having problems with MISSING e-mails delivered to the INBOX of my
Outlook 2003 account.
They are received on my WEBMAIL account, but not delivered to my POP3
account on Outlook 2003.
Anyone ever experienced similar problem?, and what can be done to correct it?.

If you are using a 3rdp party security suite that does mail scanning or
integrates with Outlook disable this integration and try again.

RE

By "3rd party", you mean Norton antivirus, which is what I have installed for
virus protection.
If I disable this feature, will I be exposed to receiving e-mails with
viruses in them?.

Yes, Norton and No, you won't be exposed by it thanks to Outlook security
settings and your Norton's on-access-scanner. Integration is redundant and a
pain.

RE

Thanks for your help. I turned off the scanning feauture on INCOMING mail.
Should I turn it off on OUTGOING?, do you believe is recommended as well?.

I would disable its integration completely (not just the scanning features)
so Norton doesn't touch Outlook at all.

RE

Thanks Roady! Your suggestion solved the immediate problem, not receiving
some e-mails.
However, I did not disable the outgoing scanning, or its complete
integration as yet.

I have no other issues receiving, but I do not know about sending, or other
e-mail issues as yet.
