Outlook 2003 Fails to Mark Emails

Some of my users are having an issue with certain outlook messages not being
marked as forwarded or replied to after the message has actually been
forwarded or replied to. The users are all running Outlook 2003 and the
issue has happened to machines running Office 2003 SP1 or SP2. We apply all
the all the latest updates for Office via our WSUS server but the issue still
happens. Is there a fix for this bug?

This is not an official Technet support channel. Aren't there Technet
