Hi,
after installing the new patches from January we have some problems with
Outlook 2003 SP2 trying to open received mails or trying to edit new mails:
-----------------------
ID: 1000, Office 11
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8118.0, stamp 456628bf,
faulting module mshtml.dll, version 7.0.5730.11, stamp 45516526, debug? 0,
fault address 0x000a9549.
-----------------------
Then you can choose to send a report to MS and Outlook restarts.
Deleting the user profile, or deleting only the mail-profile will make
Outlook to work again, but with some ammount of users is this not really a
solution.
We've noticed that users who were allready fixed still have this issue when
trying to open a mail sent from an user still having this problem.
We have an Windows 2003 SBS Server R2, XPSP2-Clients, and Outlook 2003 SP2
(and all patches). On the SBS-Server is running Exchange 2003 SP2.
We didn't find any solution in the KB, what can we do now?
Thanks and best regards,
NickD
