Steve

Hello,

Running XP 512MB DDR, on an AMD Athlon 1800+XP processor. Updated recently
SP1.

Just installed Office 2003, and having problems with outlook. Opens up
okay, on close, I get a tray Icon. When I click on it this error comes up.

"Outlook is not responding. Ig you are using an Exchange Server e-mail
account, you can cancel pending server requests by clicking the outlook icon
in tyhe notifications area and by clicking cancel server request on the
shortcut menu."

I'm not running Exchange on here!

Can anyone help?

Steve

Exact problem I have. We did a rollout of Outlook 2003, and all of the Windows XP boxes now have this problem. We have a support contract with Microsoft so I called in yesterday at around noon. They opened the incident and put me 'in the queue'. The lady who opened the incident told me there were 3 ahead of me. I guess none of the MS people wanted to tell me they have no solution for it, as the call was still on hold 'in the queue" 5 hours later. It never ceases to amaze me how poorly MS allows it's support contractors to treat MS Partners

Anyway.. I realized today that all of the XP boxes have hp scanners connected to them. I'm going to see if there is a connection on monday.

Was this rollout an upgrade or a clean installation? If it was an upgrade,
try creating a new mail profile.
