Outlook 2003 Gif files

From time to time I get emails from other people that have cute pictures and
I like to save the picture to use on my emails; however I know they have to
be saved as a gif file in order to insert picture on emails. When I right
click on the picture in Outlook 2003 as save picture as the only option I
have is a bmp file and that will not work; however if I do the same thing in
Outlook express I have the option of bmp file. Is there a setting in Outlook
2003 to have the option of gif files or another way?
